OK, how do you really update the grub2 config file?

Anaconda seems to run grub2-mkconfig, whereas new kernels run grubby -
and they have different menu entry formats.

I noticed a few weeks a go that load_video was just "true" but the
next time that I checked it was back to the default four insmods.
