will F18 allow simultaneous installation of more than one desktop?

In that case make it real easy for a newbie to distinguish the
cases that require a choice and when clicking on next is good enough.

Perhaps use a green background when taking the default is guaranteed
to work and likely to good enough from the newbie's point of view.

A yellow background when an important choice needs to be made.
A beige background for the click on what you like situation.


Other than duplicating an install,
can kickstart be easily used for anything?
IIRC one has to get the package and group names
exactly right or the install will crap out.


What should one do about the newbie who has been reading the list?
This newbie has read all the vitriol about gnome
and the suggestion to use Xfce instead.
He wants gnome, because it is the default
and he regards as the most certain to work.
He wants Xfce because he expects it to be less painful, if it works.
