Ahmed, 
Can you check out the files from CVS ?
you dont' have to use kababel to checkout these files, run these
commands from ur terminal:

export CVS_RSH=ssh 
export CVSROOT=:pserver:anonymous at i18n.redhat.com:/usr/local/CVS
cvs -z9 co translate

You should be able to checkout these files as anonymous user.

If u have no problems in your subscription: change the value of
CVSROOT to ur username & the type of ur authenticate ur account to the
server to "ext"

export CVSROOT=:ext:urusername at i18n.redhat.com:/usr/local/CVS
