problem installing fedora 2 x86-64 on a intel xeon 64 bits

I thought that first too, but researched through google and found that
Intel offers since end of June a 64 bit Xeon processor.

Just due to lack of knowledge about that new CPU I can not recommend
anything. Maybe the chipset is not proper detected because being too
new?
