modprobe - can't locate these modules

from where these two comes??? i have no such modules in /etc/modules.conf

sound-slot-0 is (if i understand it correctly) ALSA's OSS driver:

alias snd-card-0 snd-via82xx

#OSS

im going to reinstall everything and put 2.6 kernel on my box tomorrow 
because i have a bad feeling that all this mess came after i installed 
alsa drivers.
