LCD screen resolution problem

please try the following (as user "root"):

Applications -> System Settings -> Display

Change to the "Hardware" Tab.

Configure a Monitor-Type of "Generic LCD Display -> LCD Panel 1024x768"

Change to "Settings" Tab.

Choose a resolution of 1024x768

Does it work?
