how to make a sum of the installed iso files

Good question, because certainly only a handful of people here can read
your language. If you post error messages rerun the command which prints
out errors with "LANG=C" in front. So for above:

LANG=C md5sum *FC3-i386-disc1.iso

This will result in English error messages.
