modem on HP laptop

I have FC3 installed.  I want to configure the modem
on the laptop, but the Internet configuration did not
find the modem.  From Windows Device Manager, the
modem is "Agere Systems AC'97 Modem".  Will FC3 be
able to use this modem?  If yes, how can I get it to
work.
