problem with microphone and skype

Bonjour,

I have some problem with skype and the microphone:

My laptop: Dell latitute E6400

Result of
]$ head -n 1 /proc/asound/card0/codec*
Codec: IDT 92HD71B7X

External microphone is working if I use audacity for instance but not if
I try to configure skype with skype audio test.

Does anyone have some clue to properly configure skype with this sound
card? result of lspci:
00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) HD Audio
Controller (rev 03)
