BIOS doesn't see hard drive with Fedora 16, may it be an install?issue?

Remember - every BIOS config and data is exposed to the user differently (some
minimal, others almost in full view). Yours may vary as well.

Anyway, mine is set up for AHCI.
But if trouble persists, you may try other option(s) available there.

See the follow-up posts regarding the need to partition and format the entire
disk first time, after receiving a new system/component (hard disk).
