codecs, firefox and packageKit

My video chip is an ATI mobile radeon 9700 (without TV tuner).

I am getting this message on the cli terminal sometimes:

Failed to open VDPAU backend libvdpau_nvidia.so: cannot open shared
object file: No such file or directory

and it is repeated 3 times

So I looked in my .xsession-errors and found:

This comes out when I browsed to a freetv web site.

I have all gstreamer codecs installed.
I have all mplayer codecs installed.
So, what plugin do I need to handle the mime type video/quicktime ?
And why is firefox (Or is it packageKit) trying to access
libvdpau_nvidia.so ?
