At this point, I've turned my back on Gnome because it's gone in a 
direction that repels me and I've learned from experience that the devs 
don't care and the users are afraid of them.  I offered an observation 
based on what I'd seen and you found it offensive, so I shan't be 
contributing to this thread any longer because I prefer not to offend 
others without good reason.

As far as Gnome 3 is concerned, you can get a good idea of my current 
attitude by remembering Rhett Butler's last comment to Scarlett at the 
end of Gone With The Wind.
