  Thanks for the info, since the video adapter is not going to 
peacefully co-exist with Linux , I happen to have another PCI-e card in 
my junk box and I installed it and have not had a CRASH yet.

Thanks for the info on the on the app Hardinfo I installed it and it 
works great.
