Fedora Repo work with RHEL 5.7??

Hi Folks,

Seeing a recent comment on fedora repos leads me to as the following.

I need to build a driver from src. (Cranky qla2321 hba).

would it work to add development tools/libraries via yum to the RHEL by
adding a repo reference?
