And this is why "yum -y" command lines are a bad idea.  Any time I see
someone suggest "yum -y [something]" on this list, I cringe.  Because
people will blindly follow that advice, and sometimes will hose their
systems.

Yes, I saw you use a different command line in your post, but was using
your experience as a general example.
