USB boot problem -

        Curiously an Scientific Linux 6.2 live USB stick did work and
        installed, not exactly what I wanted but it points up some
        problem with the F-17/64 XFCE Spin.

        I will deal with that later, in the mean time I have a good
        working system on the new computer.
