What is minimal Fedora install?

The normal "minimal" install for F18 is around 1GB. You can actually go
lower than that if you remove some normally-standard packages and if you
erase all of the locale (translation) information. You could also zap
documenation for a small gain.

But you can definitely run off of 3Gb if you're careful.
