Well, if you're logged in as the user that you're modifying, you don't
even need to know. Writing a ~/file puts the "file" where it needs to
be. *That* user's home space.

All mail to my mailbox is automatically deleted, there is no point
trying to privately email me, I will only read messages posted to the
public lists.
