User lock really locks...[Solved?]

Solved isn't really right but the problem seems to have cleared itself 
up and things work great.  I did come across this thread for Red Hat 
which seemed similar...

but was unable to reproduce the issue.  I have all the same programs 
running I had when it happened the first time.  Nothing...  Thank you 
anyways.
