obscurity does not replace security
obscurity is there to EXTEND security

update your software to fix exploitable code
but additionally make it hard to guess even what
software and what versions you have running

what is more likely to be attacked?
someone who is crying out he is there and how is
he exploitable or someone where you need active work
to find out he exists - there is no and will never be
a "this is security" - security is always a concept
of many pieces in different layers

why?
because 100% security does not exist
only "make it as hard as possible"
