akmod isn't reliable

At this risk of sounding a bit harsh... If you don't know where your
software is coming from, don't use it. If you don't understand that you had
to install the RPM Fusion repositories to get akmods, you probably
shouldn't be using it. It's really designed for people who are running
modified/custom kernels, since it doesn't look like that's the case, just
stick with the kmods package.
