Very possible, there are several clones of Cobbler already out there.
Once you've created a project on github you should just need to do:
- git remote add github git@github.com:yourusername/cobbler.git
- git push github master
Just need to be familiar with the name of your remotes, and use those
when you push/pull/fetch.
