At a glance this seems pretty reasonable.
Disclaimer: I have basically no knowledge of IPv6
My plan for this is roughly
1. Read the wikipedia page for IPv6 and become educated so that I at
least understand what we're talking about
2. Spot check the IPv4 code paths for regressions to make sure this in
no way interferes (at a glance it doesn't look like it's touched in any
way so this should be fine)
3. Accept this patch for inclusion for the 2.0.2 release
4. Set up IPv6 myself so that I can actually play with this code :)

I have merged this into my github here:
http://github.com/jeckersb/cobbler/commit/22802399967fb45057246efac7bc092...
I'm going to be setting up some test rigs for cobbler to cover EL3,4,5
and FC10,11,12 testing. Once I get those up I'll sanity check this
across all variants and then merge it into the main repo.
