Apologies for the html, here's the text:
Hi folks, good to see .NET becoming a first class citizen on linux after many years of
relative success via Mono.
I'm Roddie, I've been involved in professional software development 19 years this
month prior to which I did IT work for about 4 years while completing CS. In that time
I've primarily worked with C/C++, C#, Objective-C, and Java with a little Ruby and
Perl thrown in for good measure. Industry wise it's been pc/mobile/console game
development, aerospace, maritime navigation, and the enterprise space, fulfilling roles
from programmer through technical director as well as entrepreneur.
At the moment I'm at Red Hat focused on the FuseSource / A-MQ suite of middleware
products. My workstation is Fedora 23 and I've been spending more and more time with
PowerShell as well reintroducing myself to the pros and cons of MSBuild in the post
project.json world.
