[dotnet] Re: Self-introduction
Hi folks,
I am Omair, a software engineering working at Red Hat. I am currently
maintaining .NET Core package for RHEL and I am interested in helping
get them included in Fedora and then maintain them.
I am quite new to .NET and C#, I have to admit. I have worked for the
last 6 years or so in mostly Java and C. In fact, I have worked quite
a bit on OpenJDK - which is roughly the equivalent of .NET Core
(except for Java). I hope to bring some of my knowledge, skills and
experience over and help improve the .NET Core community and make the
Open Source .NET an excellent platform for developers on Linux.
Looking forward to working with everyone and learning a lot!
