We have rediscovered this problem during the initial Python 3.13
bootstrap
as well.
Apparently, the python-pbr in the Fedora 39+ repositories is built in the
bootstrap mode only.
Matthias, do you plan to have a look at this, or are you no longer taking
care of this package and it should be assigned to somebody else (perhaps
Joel)?
stestr is not yet compatible with python3.12 [1].
They are waiting for a testtools patch [2] to be included in a new release.
Then we'll have to update testtools and stestr to fix the FTBFS.
In the meantime, I ask to keep bootstrap enabled in [3], then I'll merge it to
unblock Python 3.13 boostrap.
