I have some problems updating my fedora 1. It gets stuck after a

(the modem flow stops), and a messagge appears. It says something
about applications not being selected, but no application name is

At least i don´t remember doing so.
The fact is i can´t update it.
Is it a bug in Fedora 1?
This is a spanish list. Please choose the english one if you don't speak
spanish.
It depends on what program are you using to update Fedora Core 1:
1.- up2date [The (!) icon]
edit /etc/sysconfig/rhn/sources and comment (with a #) the Red Hat
mirror, a very busy one, and add your nearest mirror from:
http://fedora.redhat.com/download/mirrors.html
2.- yum
edit /etc/yum.conf and do the same.
3.- apt (apt-get)
it includes a fast server by default, but there are mirrors for
freshrpms too. The file to edit is /etc/apt/sources.list
Google it:
http://www.google.com/linux there's a lot of info on how to
configure the 3 programs for Fedora Core 1.

http://fedora.redhat.com/download/mirrors.html
2.- yum
edita /etc/yum.conf y haz lo mismo.
3.- apt (apt-get)
funcione correctamente.
