Is this really the best possible solution though -- requiring users to
delete cookies? I'm no web-app developer but is it possible for the
browser and back-end to determine that perhaps a rewriting of the
cookie with a new value (i.e. the value that gets written into the
cookie after it's manually deleted and makes it work again) will
resolve the issue without requiring the user to manually delete the
cookie?
Just looking for opportunity to increase the user-experience and
decrease the potential failure surface.
