Summary: Wrong directory ownership
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=569452
Summary: Wrong directory ownership
Product: Fedora
Version: rawhide
Platform: All
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: medium
Priority: low
Component: japanese-bitmap-fonts
AssignedTo: tagoh(a)redhat.com
ReportedBy: ovasik(a)redhat.com
QAContact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org
CC: tagoh(a)redhat.com, fedora-i18n-bugs(a)redhat.com
Estimated Hours: 0.0
Classification: Fedora
Target Release: ---
Based on the check done on F-12 system, your package owns directories owned by
filesystem.
This is not allowed by Fedora policies.
See
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging/Guidelines#File_and_Directory_Own...
for details.
(Sub)package japanese-bitmap-fonts:
/usr/share/ghostscript/conf.d
This is autogenerated bugzilla, I'm sorry if the problem is already fixed or
reported. Additionally I apologize if that directory ownership was requested
earlier by some bugzilla (some directories were probably added into filesystem
package later, so your package should no longer own that directory).

Guess the Japanese tourists, immigrants, or Japanese course teachers in Czech
still need them. :-)

If what you did is just tick on server package set without uncheck other
groups. Then it is the expected behavior.
Checking on server package set merely means you need additional server support,
but it is an overkill to uninstall other non-server-related packages.
Guess an "uncheck all groups except core and your locale" button is more useful
in your case. What you need to do is add the web/VCS/backup packages back.
No need to bother install languages, productive, X and other software you don't
need.

know that something like "Venda" exists before, and I really don't want to have
those Input Methods installed, as stated as the subject of this bug
about 4 GiB after the "basic" installation seems too much for a simple
web/VCS/backup server :-/
(yes, I know I should blame also the other groups)
