[Fedora-i18n-bugs] [Bug 1564354] New: Hide the search status UI at the top of the candidate list
by bugzilla@redhat.com
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1564354
Bug ID: 1564354
Summary: Hide the search status UI at the top of the candidate
list
Product: Fedora
Version: 28
Component: ibus-typing-booster
Assignee: mfabian(a)redhat.com
Reporter: petersen(a)redhat.com
QA Contact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org
CC: anish.developer(a)gmail.com,
i18n-bugs(a)lists.fedoraproject.org, mfabian(a)redhat.com
Description of problem:
ibus-typing-booster currently uses some emoji at the top of
its candidate list to show that it is searching also for emoji
and something else. This is distracting and confusing for
most users, so it would be better to hide this by default.
Also there are check boxes which can't be clicked...
Steps to Reproduce:
1. input word with typing booster
Actual results:
Candidate list uses emoji to show some status information
which distracts from the actual candidates.
Expected results:
No extra UI: users can check the settings in the setup.
If you want to make this configurable that is okay.
