Hardware: Unspecified
Mount Type: ---
Status: NEW
Component: ibus-typing-booster
Product: Fedora
Description of problem:
Ibus-typing-booster doesn't work well with gnome-shell, specificaly with
Activities Overview ("winkey app menu"). If I select some predictive method in
ibus (for example English-US(Hunspell)), hit the Winkey menu and try to type
something (to search for an application in gnome 3 shell), nothing is displayed
(neither letters, nor list of words for prediction). If I hit winkey now, typed
word appears in first focused window. If I hit tab instead, word suddenly
appears in app search dialog.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. enable predictive method
2. hit winkey in gnome-shell
3. type name of some application
Actual results:
Nothing appears in "Type to search..." dialog.
Expected results:
Typed name should be visible in that dialog.
