--- Comment #39 from Kevin Fenzi <kevin(a)tummy.com> 2008-12-04 23:58:55 EDT ---
Sorry for the delay here. This bug slipped off my radar. ;(
that should works originally by the condition in comps. my
understanding is,
xfce needs to have a dependency of imsettings-xfce because yum doesn't pull in
imsettings-xfce on upgrading now.
ok, so for new installs this works ok now, but for old installs where the user
has upgraded it does not, as it doesn't pull in imsettings-xfce, as there is no
dependency in place there. I guess that makes sense...
Actually in the above test case, imsettings-xfce was pulled in by yum
groupinstall japanese-support and the packages in japanese-support group is
available in the media. but not imsettings-xfce as well as xfce packages isn't
available. If xfce doesn't have a dependency of imsettings-xfce, one needs to
do yum groupinstall japanese-support anyway, which should be finished in the
usual upgrading already. that doesn't make sense.
ok. I see what you are saying.
I guess I will look at adding that dependency, but I am not entirely sure what
Xfce package it should be on. ;(
