Hi all, the Mindshare meeting just came to a close.
In our meeting, we focused only on the FAD planning and spent time
finding our ground in what we hope to accomplish and achieve.
I'm actioned to create an Etherpad and work with jsmith on mapping out
goals and their suggested impact for the FAD (later, this can be ported
to a wiki page or something more formal). I'm going to get the Etherpad
out soon.
Thanks all for coming out, and hope to see some of you in-person next
week. :-)

robyduck reported a new issue against the project: `mindshare` that you are following:
``
We have 8 candidates for two appointed seats in mindshare to fill, but probably the Ambassadors group is not able to appoint them with a clear and transparent process. We need to help them to find a proper way to get this done ASAP.
Candidates are here:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mindshare/Representatives
Nick already has a seat and we actually don't have any contributor from APAC in Mindshare.
This issue should collect proposals or ideas about how we can make the selection happen. Using the voting app is an option, but we all know that this would be far away from getting appointed through a constructive discussion.
Any ideas are welcome, please add them here.

I have set up a new whenisgood for the meeting time. Please fill in your
availability, I hope we can find a time which works for all of us.
Thanks.

(robyduck)
Hi all,
The FAD is approaching at the beginning of March and I was curious if
there were thoughts about including the Ambassador reps in the FAD.
The original Council ticket mentioned names, but I'm not sure if we've
followed up with those people or determined selection criteria.
https://pagure.io/Fedora-Council/tickets/issue/143
From what I see, it seems like some discussion has happened before about
how to select the Ambassador discussion and it was mentioned in
robyduck's original email to the elected members of Mindshare. Since the
FAD is approaching quickly, it's probably best to make a transparent
decision on the selection / nomination criteria before the FAD.
Could anyone share background context on the Ambassador Mindshare
selection process?
Thanks.
