Hello Ismael,
Could someone confirm if xsp and mono-debugger are deprecated in
3.*?
There is no updates at
http://origin-download.mono-project.com/sources but
would like to verify it by someone better informed than me.
I don't know much
about mono-debugger, I am not using it myself.
Looking at
http://www.mono-project.com/docs/debug+profile/debug/debugger/,
it refers to
http://www.mono-project.com/docs/advanced/runtime/docs/soft-debugger/
which was added in Mono 2.6. I have no idea if that is the same that
you are refering to.
XSP always was not recommended for production use, but for development
purposes it is quite useful.
The official tarball 2.10.2 from
http://origin-download.mono-project.com/sources/xsp/ is quite
outdated.
There have been some commits in 2013 that are quite useful, I have
used
https://github.com/mono/xsp/commit/8a31bc625727594d42f94173768bee5cf8afd0a4
in my own development packages.
And looking at the commit history, there is work going on on XSP in
the past weeks:
https://github.com/mono/xsp/commits/master
Making it ready to compile with .net 4.0 once .net 2.0 has been
dropped from Mono 4.0.
All the best,
Timotheus
