I've noticed when using the install DVD recently that I in the
development
section there is no entry for .NET development tools. This seems like an
easy improvement we could make for .NET users on Fedora by adding a bit of
visibility.
However I am not familiar with how to go about doing this, indications are
that we need to edit the comps file. Anyone know what the procedure is for
getting such a change into Fedora?
Here's the procedure:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/How_to_use_and_edit_comps.xml_for_package_...
For individual packages you can directly make an edit; for adding a
new category, however, you should probably mail -devel and -packaging
first and get their OK.
