Description of problem:
When I use the command chomp($my_varible=<STDIN>), perl gives an syntax error
on the line I put it on.
Used other examples, couldn't get it to work
This is on the Raspberry Pi Fedora (raspberrypi-fedora-remix)

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Make the perl script below and then save it:
!#/usr/lib/perl
#can also be /usr/bin/perl
chomp($my_varible=<STDIN>);
2.Run the script you made
