Hi Ankur,
Hi Rich,
I saw those bug reports pop up too. I'm going to try to get to
them
soon, but I've been a bit short on time lately with moving to a new
job/city. The bug reports say they need to be fixed before f30, so I
think we have some time.
Sure. No worries. I think there's the one bug that requires immediate
attention, since it hasn't been built for F28 too:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1556280
I've let Miro know that we'll fix it soon.
If you've got packages you don't want to maintain, you can
assign them
to me or to the @robotics-sig group. I can try to keep up with them
if you want to focus on other things.
Sure. I've already given the robotics sig ownership of my packages and
I've also applied to the robotics sig so that I can help out when I have
the cycles. For instance, I could look into the python-vcstools build if
I have access to it (python-wstools depends on it too).
I'd have no problems collaborating with a larger sci-tech group
of
maintainers if they're open to it. I think that's how Debian handles
robotics packages - under a larger Science umbrella.
Yes. This makes sense to me too. I'll get in touch with the other
science related SIGs and see if we can follow this method too. It's on
my TODO list now.
