Is the java-1.6.0-openjdk.s390x interpreter only or is the JIT enabled?

AFAIK it has "Shark" JIT enabled, the build times for the openjdk package dropped from 20 hours in the beginnings of fedora/s390x to 2 hours now

Amazing, is it llvm-based or did someone go and write all the System z template stuff? Do you know who worked on this? Bravo to whomever is responsible. I started on the llvm track but just didn't have the cycles to do it for nix.

ah, then I was wrong, I was really convinced that the Shark JIT is used, especially because Gary Benson who is the Shark developer, was using one of our s390x guests for some Java testing
