Tried to join. The selected conference tool, BlueJeans, crashes Firefox. Every time I try to join the conference in Chrome it asks to reinstall the plug-in that the tool pages says isn't required. Restarting the browser, and the computer, doesn't help.
Apologize for the obstacles when trying to join this one. I can confirm (also experienced the issue) on Fedora 22 with Firefox 40.0.3 in some of my previous meetings (it not only crashed the Firefox, but has frozen whole computer in the way a hard-restart was necessary).
Sorry, this is probably my bad -- since I could warn the possible attendees this could happen.
Sadly, I'm on a CentOS 6 desktop. Blue Jeans support just noted that their product doesn't work on Chrome v35+ on Linux.
Sooo...I'm supposed to use Windows to see a Red Hat security tool briefing?
What helped in my case was to install official Google Chrome (not Chromium, but Chrome) on Fedora 22 to solve this (it's not crashing even when someone shares their desktop to share the information). Can't say for case of CentOS 6 OS, but hopefully you can try if that solves the issue for you too.
As for the missing meeting / information - please don't repudiate on us and don't worry. Like Simon already shared that workshop seem to have been pretty useful / successful (according to people's reaction), and we will rerun it again to provide the recording (it to be available on SSG wiki and on open-scap.org portal page for SCAP Security Guide project, people to be able to check it anytime they want).
Stay tuned. We will provide a heads-up when the next one is coming (don't know the exact date as of right now yet).
Hope the above being helpful.
