Hi, I have no objections in using the latest devel release of smoon when the
1.1.1.1 clients can work with it.
But I just tested with the latest development version and still have the same issue...
This is what I did:
- git clone
git://git.fedorahosted.org/smolt.git smolt.git
(also tried with the branch from
http://fedorapeople.org/~ynemoy/git/smolt.git)
- set up mysql connection in dev.cfg
- imported all files from database/ with sql_create.sql at first and sql_remove_views.sql
at last
- start the server: ./start-hardware.py
- run the client: python ./sendProfile.py -s
http://localhost:8080
-> Same problem as described in the first mail.
Am I doing something wrong?
No no, this was certainly in the code. I've submitted a quick fix that
will allow this to work but I need to see if I've introduced any other
bugs.
Side note, I see you're with SuSE so if you like what you see or want to
submit any patches or need any help please just ask. We're very
interested in working with you. Stop by #smolt on
irc.freenode.net if you
ever want to chat. Also should you ever want commit access just let me
know and I'll help you (and whoever else you're working with) get setup.
We're quite excited about the possibility of expanding our developer base.
It always feels like there's so much to do but so little help to do it.
We've also got a summer of code project to pretty up the web interface
quite a bit. So we'll probably want to get another good working version
out the door before he starts on all of that (just to give him a good
working point)
anyway, let us know if you need anything.
