No no, this was certainly in the code. I've submitted a quick fix that
will allow this to work but I need to see if I've introduced any other
bugs.
I pulled the latest git version, which skips the error, but there is still nothing written
to the database
and the subsequent client call to
GET /w/api.php?action=query...
fails with cherrypy.NotFound(objectpath).
Side note, I see you're with SuSE so if you like what you see or
want to
submit any patches or need any help please just ask. We're very
interested in working with you. Stop by #smolt on
irc.freenode.net if you
ever want to chat. Also should you ever want commit access just let me
know and I'll help you (and whoever else you're working with) get setup.
We're quite excited about the possibility of expanding our developer base.
It always feels like there's so much to do but so little help to do it.
I'm already on #smolt as digitltom. I don't speak python, but once we have a
running server
in use I would like to improve the documentation on how to set it up (especially on
opensuse).
And include the server in our smolt package.
We've also got a summer of code project to pretty up the web
interface
quite a bit. So we'll probably want to get another good working version
out the door before he starts on all of that (just to give him a good
working point)
anyway, let us know if you need anything.
I need a working instance of smoon to convince our managers that it's worth
to integrate the smolt client in the yast registration process for opensuse 11.0 :-)
Greetings
