SD CARD READER on HP NX5000

Hi,

The laptop HP nx5000 has a built-in SDcard reader. It never worked on linux.
Howerver, since upgradte to Fedora 7, The hibernating this PC is working and
MORE, after resumed  from suspend, this PC can automatically picked up the
inserted SD card too. Unfortunately from a normal reboot or start, this SD
card reader did not auto pick up the plugged SD card.
How or where to figure out how to make this SD card work after a reboot.
