Separate /usr partition

well the existing rules works just fine in my F14 systems, but sometimes 
the unlikely get developed and the likely well is forgotten, so that's 
my reason to ask about the situation with /var

Well, the article points the problems are daemon's fault, but maybe the 
clean design of systemd is too clean
