It would need a device tree. We don't currently have one for it, I would encourage them to get one upstream. With an appropriate DT it would likely run fine on the 3.14 kernel we'll ship with F-20
It has a device tree. I've used the imx6q-nitrogen6x DTB as well as the imx6q-sabrelite DTB to get Ubuntu and Debian on them. Unless the device trees are OS specific?
Is there a .dts patch somewhere, it depends somewhat when and what kernel the .dtb was built against as there's been some changes.
