0.8.0 Status Update

It's been a while since we started working on 0.8.0 so I thought
that it might be a good time to update our progress.

I know some of what has been going on but would appreciate it if the
people involved could update any progress that I missed, give estimates
on how much work is left before completion and correct anything that I
might have gotten wrong.

 - Unknown amount of work remaining

 The volume of emails sent out is better than it was but still needs a
 bit of work. Staging emails are enabled, production emails were
 enabled but have been turned off pending some more tweaking on what is
 being sent out.

ResultsDB Integration
 - Incomplete
 - Unknown amount of work remaining

 Pretty much at beta quality and ready for deployment to staging but
 not ready to handle any tests other than what is currently in AutoQA.

 It looks like this might be mostly done, but I'm not sure about that.

 It sounds like this might be done but I could well be wrong on this.

 - Unknown amount of work remaining

 I'm a little unclear on what is and isn't done on this, it sounds like
 some progress has been made but it isn't complete yet.

 - Estimate 2 days of coding left, partial involvement for babysitting
   during actual demo

 Demo system is mostly complete and deployed behind RH VPN. Working on
 getting set up for a public demo using cloud infrastructure

 - Incomplete
 - A lot of work is left on this, not sure how much

 A few mockups have been made but not much progress has been made
 otherwise.

Not really "pushed to production", we decided we don't need it in
staging/production environment yet, but it's beneficial for development environment.
And it's ready, yes. Deployed in Brno and available for everyone here.

I have just pushed a patch that allows us to blacklist some result emails. I'll use
that to blacklist rawhide test results on production server (it generates about 100 emails
per day or so). It means production emails will be disabled until 0.8 is deployed there.
After that I'll enable it again.

Nothing is in master. Right before Christmas Hongqing posted "rats_install test
updated for review" email into autoqa-devel. I have in plan to look at it very soon.
I'm not sure whether Hongqing has been doing some further adjustments in the meantime,
because we clarified some issues over IRC lately. Hongqing, can you confirm whether
rats_install is now ready for review or whether you still work on it? Thanks.

I believed that caching proxy ticket was a pre-requisite for that. Nowadays I have to
admit that it wasn't probably necessary, I just didn't realize it. 

Hongqing, what's the state of this test, is it also ready for review? It should use
similar mechanism as rats_install in regards to ISO downloading (watcher passing the
download URL to the test).

   I think I could finish it in next week. Now I got a trouble that the output
order
   are different when I run './sanity' separately and call it in
'mediakit_sanity'. I believe
