So I got the latest version installed and running, but libvirt currently only connects
directly to ESX hosts, and not a vCenter server itself. This IMHO makes it useless for a
enterprise environment, as all management for ESX hosts are done through the vCenter
server. I was able to hack the source to get it sorta working, and posted on the libvirt
list about this as well. I'll see what they come up with ;-)
ESX support is still fairly new and not a whole lot of people are
using it. With any luck you'll get a patch accepted into libvirt :)
