Lo tengo compilado ya, pero a la hora de actualizarlo/instalarlo, me

Usa el parametro --force del comando rpm.

is already installed

Ignoralo y continua con la
instalación, luego reinicias hal.
¿Alguna sugerencia adicional sobre cómo instalar sin romper la paquetería?
Puedes evitar los "warnings" editando y modificando el .spec y hacerle
creer al sistema que el paquete se trata de una nueva versión, si
sabes hacer esto adelante, en caso contrario usa el parametro
"--force" para obligarlo a realizar la instalación y haces caso omiso
a los warning.
