Additional info:
The "cannot determine version of" ghc-pkg warnings look suspicious.

[Bug 995419] New: ghc throws an illegal instruction error when compiling on nvidia tegra2
by Red Hat Bugzilla
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=995419
Bug ID: 995419
Summary: ghc throws an illegal instruction error when compiling
on nvidia tegra2
Product: Fedora
Version: rawhide
Component: ghc
Assignee: petersen(a)redhat.com
Reporter: hdegoede(a)redhat.com
QA Contact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org
CC: bos(a)serpentine.com,
haskell-devel(a)lists.fedoraproject.org,

While doing a testbuild of hedgewars on my trimslice (arm system with nVidia
Tegra2 soc), I got the following error:
/bin/sh: line 1: 1076 Illegal instruction /usr/bin/ghc --make
/root/rpmbuild/BUILD/hedgewars-src-0.9.18/gameServer/hedgewars-server.hs
-i/root/rpmbuild/BUILD/hedgewars-src-0.9.18/gameServer -o
/root/rpmbuild/BUILD/hedgewars-src-0.9.18/bin/hedgewars-server -odir
/root/rpmbuild/BUILD/hedgewars-src-0.9.18/gameServer -hidir
/root/rpmbuild/BUILD/hedgewars-src-0.9.18/gameServer -O2
This is with F-20 ghc, but F-19 glibc due to bug 985342, after fixing the build
issue I was trying to debug "blind" (guessing the cause and firing of a build)
the build did succeed on the buildsystem, so the likely cause for this is the
ghc binaries containing (unconditionally executed) neon code.
A good place to start fixing this is to check the compile flags for ghc, end
ensure they don't enable neon. If that is not the case it may be interesting to
wait and see how bug 985342 plays out, as that is a similar issue.

[Bug 1121482] New: gpg-agent not spawned with xmonad-mate
by Red Hat Bugzilla
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1121482
Bug ID: 1121482
Summary: gpg-agent not spawned with xmonad-mate
Product: Fedora
Version: 20
Component: xmonad
Severity: low
Assignee: mathstuf(a)gmail.com
Reporter: alonid(a)gmail.com
QA Contact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org
CC: haskell-devel(a)lists.fedoraproject.org,
mathstuf(a)gmail.com, petersen(a)redhat.com
In Fedora 20, when I switched to a xmonad-mate session I noticed that gpg-agent
daemon is not running. This was noticed for every application that uses gpg
decryption (e.g. `gpg -d` on a file).
I managed to fix the problem by adding the following lines in
/usr/bin/xmonad-start:
if [ -x "/usr/bin/gpg-agent" ] ; then
killall -w gpg-agent 2>/dev/null
eval `gpg-agent --daemon`
fi
But perhaps you can devise a better fix.

[Bug 1222382] New: cabal unpack fails
by Red Hat Bugzilla
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1222382
Bug ID: 1222382
Summary: cabal unpack fails
Product: Fedora
Version: 22
Component: cabal-rpm
Assignee: petersen(a)redhat.com
Reporter: sash.opensource(a)googlemail.com
QA Contact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org
CC: haskell-devel(a)lists.fedoraproject.org,
petersen(a)redhat.com
Description of problem:
I try to create an rpm package for pandoc-citeproc because Fedoras current
version fails for me. In order to do so, I also need to create an rpm of
xml-conduit. I read about Haskell package creation on
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:Haskell and tried to create a spec
file for xml-conduit with cabal rpm. The following happens:
cabal-rpm is not able to unpack the tgz:
[makerpm@L420 SOURCES]$ cabal-rpm spec xml-conduit-1.3.0.tar.gz
cabal: The file does not exist 'xml-conduit-1.3.0.tar.gz'.
cabal-rpm: user error ("cabal unpack -v0 xml-conduit-1.3.0.tar.gz" failed with
status 1)
But when I run cabal unpack manually, it works:
[makerpm@L420 SOURCES]$ cabal unpack -v0 xml-conduit-1.3.0.tar.gz
[makerpm@L420 SOURCES]$ ls -l xml-conduit-1.3.0
total 28

-rw-rw-r--. 1 makerpm makerpm 2648 May 17 14:35 xml-conduit.cabal
When I then try to run cblrpm spec on the .cabal file itself, this happens:
[makerpm@L420 xml-conduit-1.3.0]$ cblrpm spec xml-conduit.cabal
cabal: The file does not exist 'xml-conduit.cabal'.
cblrpm: user error ("cabal unpack -v0 xml-conduit.cabal" failed with status 1)
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
0.9.5
How reproducible:
Always, see description.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
Actual results:
cabal-rpm fails
Expected results:
cabal-rpm should create a spec file.
