[Fedora-i18n-bugs] [Bug 1777400] New: ibus-libpinyin's "Fuzzy input" is not working for pinyin
by bugzilla@redhat.com
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1777400
Bug ID: 1777400
Summary: ibus-libpinyin's "Fuzzy input" is not working for
pinyin
Product: Fedora
Version: 31
Status: NEW
Component: ibus-libpinyin
Assignee: pwu(a)redhat.com
Reporter: yanqiyu01(a)gmail.com
QA Contact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org
CC: i18n-bugs(a)lists.fedoraproject.org,
petersen(a)redhat.com, pwu(a)redhat.com
Target Milestone: ---
Classification: Fedora
Description of problem:
In ibus-libpinin's settings, "fuzzy input"(may be other words in English, here
it is "模糊音") only shows options for bopomofo but not showing options for
pinyin.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
1.11.1
How reproducible:
Always.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set input method to ibus-libpinyin, and go to its settings, enable all
options(which are showing bopomofo) .
2. Type "指挥"(zhihui)by "zihui"
3.
Actual results:
Found "指挥" don't show as candidate
Expected results:
Fuzzy pinyin should work for pinyin: It should provide fuzzy pinyin settings
and be able to handle typos such as zhihui/zihui.
