Sorry, I can't reproduce this bug on fresh Fedora 25 installation.
Could you reproduce it on Fedora 25? To take effects, this option needs to re-login the desktop.
I think this problem exists even though reloggin into desktop or restarting ibus.
1. Super-space and enable ibus-hangul 2. Launch ibus-setup-hangul and enable "Star in hangul mode" 3. Super-space and enable another engine 4. Run ibus restart 5. Super-space and enable ibus-hangul
It's not hangul mode until type Shift-space.
